Today the girls and I went to Grand Rapids for an appointment with the plastic surgeon. He said that Tori needs to go to an orthodontist ASAP and start working on moving her jaw to make it wider, and in January both girls will have surgery on their gum to form the gum completely. They will do a bone graft from their hip (ouch!) and make this bone part of their upper jaw/gum line. Pray for the girls that they have peace. They now understand everything the Dr is saying and on the way home they were both asking a lot of questions and getting very concerned. The only thing that was settling to them was that it was next Jan and not next week. Tori is however, excited to get braces (she doesn't realize that they hurt, even though I have told her several times). Keep them in your prayers. Thanks.
