Quilt

I have been really busy lately, and one of the things keeping me busy is making a quilt for my cousin's wife who is having a baby. This is my first piece quilt, so don't look very close :P

Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a blessed day and are able to spend time with the ones you love. We are on our way to my Aunt Melanie's house to be with my family. I love getting dressed up, relaxing, having a HUGE meal, and relaxing some more afterwards (while reading the ads in the paper). Thanksgiving traditions are important, no matter what yours are. Have fun and give lots of hugs!

Las Vegas

Our trip was great. The weather was 80, which is perfect. It was sunny everyday. WE got to spend two days with my brother, which was sooo nice. WE went with him to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. Here are some pictures

Today Mike was singing a country song that has a line "all my rowdy friends are coming over tonight!" and Cole replied "you'd better check with Mom on that" :P

Coming off of cloud Nine

Today I used my gift certificate for my spa day. It was at a really nice spa in town. I had a manicure, pedicure, facial, and 1 hour massage! It was wonderful! It took over four hours--of pure pampering. I even got to wear a robe all day. It was great, and I have VERY soft skin (for the day anyways) and it is just in time for us to go to Vegas! My husband is GREAT!

Here are some pictures of the kids dressed up on Halloween. We did not go trick-or-treating....we usually go to this great party at the church here, but this year Halloween was on Wednesday, so we went to our church. We are in a small group, and we are leaders, so we wanted to be there. The kids had fun. They had a chocolate fountain for the kids, and they ate TONS of chocolate! As you can see we have Morgan as a Princess, Tori as a Queen, and Cole as a Bunny.
