Happy birthday birthday girls. I can't believe you are 10 years old. You are growing into such beautiful young ladies. You are maturing every day, and becoming so considerate of others around you.
Tori, you are so strong and such a funny girl. You love to make others smile. I love to see you smile too.
Morgan, you are such a determined girl. You never let anything get in your way. Your smile lights up the room. You are such caring person, always trying to help others.
I am so proud of both of you!

Girls
We are home. The surgeries went very well. The Doctor said he was very pleased with the outcome. The girls are however in a LOT of pain. The poor things. The can't even move without doing that pathetic whine which makes me want to do ANYTHING for them, but I CAN'T!
Please continue to pray for them that the pain would be gone.
The procedure they did was to remove bone marrow from the right hip and they "spoon" it out. They then "pack" it into the open spot in their upper jaw line and into the nasal area. OUCH! Liquids for a week, and then for five weeks only very soft food. They are already skinny little things, I can't imagine after 6 weeks what they will look like.

Easter and Surgery
Wow, is it cold! I am looking out the window at snow banks and it is just cold. I had to go out and buy the girls some cardigans to go with their dresses. They are necessary this year. We are staying home and making dinner here in Sunday. It will be nice to relax. My mom is coming over too.
We are getting ready for surgery. We will head down to Grand Rapids on Tuesday night and surgery is Wednesday (26th). Morgan is first at about 9:30 and Tori is at 1:00ish. They are doing okay, but are nervous. They keep talking about it and asking a TON of questions! I feel so bad for them. They will be having a bone graft done and bone is taken from the hip and used to graft an upper jaw the fill in the gap from the cleft. They will look a little different after surgery. I am curious to see the out come.
Keep them in your prayers. Pray for peace for them. Thanks!
